We’re excited to announce our new Community Partnership with the amazing Homeless Children’s Playtime Project.

Thanks for our CCPC Community Engagement parent leaders Laura Bierbower, Tracey Gardiner, and Shannon McMahon.

We are planning a community service event to support this organization around Valentine's Day!

Community Service Opportunities

for Families

In the past we have worked with Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church's TAP (Transition Assistance Program) outreach program and would love to have Nursery School families join us by bringing in sandwiches that they have made at home.

Who took that picture?

It was our very own

Lauren Roche Garland!

Check out her work.

At Christmas, we have a toy drive to collect gifts of toy, mittens and hats for distribution through the Horton's Kids organization which provides services to the most at-risk children in the city.

Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church works with an interfaith community to support refugees.

Watch this moving 15 minute film about the family of our former student, Adnan Al Hazzouri.  The film highlights the family's journey from Syria to a refugee camp in Jordan and finally to their new home in the US.  Adnan was in Mrs. Creer’s class, and Mrs. Manfreda's class. A picture of him as a strongman in our beloved annual circus appears in the movie.  His mother, Qamar, worked in Mrs. Abernathy’s class as an assistant.
